Seychelles has not been immune to Covid-19. Like many nations around the world, it has, unfortunately, had to face the terrible consequences of this virus.

As a small, tropical island nation, the Seychelles relies heavily on two main industries to fuel its economy – tourism and fishing. As you can imagine, closing the borders to tourists had a major impact on the economy and livelihoods of the people of Seychelles. So when it was announced that the borders were reopening, it was greeted with joy, optimism and anticipation.

There however remain a number of measures in place for the safety of both the Seychellois people and the tourists coming to visit these beautiful islands. We’ve put together all the necessary Covid-19 information for visitors so that any plans you make will be as informed as possible.
