Cerf Island

Around 4km from Mahé is Cerf Island. It is approximately 1.5km long by 1km wide and situated in the middle of the Ste Anne Marine National Park. It is home to only a handful of Seychellois. Most of these residents make the quick journey to Mahé everyday where they are employed. The boat ride between the two islands takes less than 10 minutes.

The hotels on Cerf offer a much quieter and remote atmosphere than its neighbouring Mahé. Many locals make trips to Cerf during the weekends for family picnics due to its lovely and secluded beaches.
